Dear Wellness Dental Bronte Family,
As the days get longer and the ocean warms up, there’s no better time to smile! November has arrived with sunshine, community spirit, and important reminders for your oral health.
This month, we’re sharing highlights from our spooktacular night at Hallowpalooza, diving into why some teeth can feel a little more sensitive than others, and shining a spotlight on Mouth Cancer Awareness Month — an issue close to our hearts.
Here’s what’s new at the clinic this month:
🎃 Team Fun at Hallowpalooza!

Community, costumes, and plenty of smiles
What a night! Our team had a fang-tastic time at Clovelly Public School’s Hallowpalooza, joining families from across the community for some spooky fun.
From lucky dips and golden tickets to goodie bags filled with smile-friendly treats, it was such a joy to see so many familiar faces — and meet plenty of new ones too!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and share a laugh. Community connection is at the heart of what we do, and events like these remind us just how special the Bronte and Clovelly neighbourhood truly is.

❄️ What Causes Teeth Sensitivity?

Understanding that “ouch” moment
If you’ve ever felt a sharp twinge when sipping something cold (or hot!), you’re not alone. Tooth sensitivity is incredibly common and often linked to enamel wear, gum recession, or even overzealous brushing.
From desensitising toothpaste to protective treatments in the clinic, our team can help you find comfort again so you can enjoy your favourite foods and drinks without hesitation.

💙 Mouth Cancer Awareness Month

Early detection saves lives
November is Mouth Cancer Action Month, an important reminder that regular dental checkups do more than just keep your teeth clean — they can also help detect early signs of oral cancer. In fact, a soft tissue oral cancer check is one of the main reasons that we recommend a six monthly checkup.
Our dentists perform a quick, painless screening during your routine appointments, checking for any unusual changes to the mouth, lips, or tongue. Early detection plays a major role in successful treatment, which is why we encourage everyone to stay on top of their visits.
If it’s been more than six months since your last checkup, now’s the perfect time to schedule one before the end of the year.
✨ Until Next Time…
As 2025 starts to wind down, we’re so grateful to be part of such a warm and caring community. Thank you for trusting us with your smiles — we can’t wait to help you step into summer feeling confident and refreshed.
Warmly,
The Wellness Dental Bronte Team
